Welcome to our Unplugged Village®
Since 2009, hundreds of thousands of Global (formerly National) Day of Unplugging participants have joined the movement to elevate human connection over digital engagement in their cities across the globe.
Westborough Connects is part of Global Day of Unplugging 2026, with planning underway from their annual Westborough Unplugs week! This organization is all about community connections and helping bring people together. You can check out their Westborough Unplugs resource handout HERE to see how to reconnect your community.
For GDU 2025 they kicked off with an “Anxious Generation” Community Read and Book Club. They also had their big event Westborough Unplugs 2025 (May 4-10). In the summer you can find fun activities including an old fashion bike parade and a farmers market scavenger hunt where kids can try and spot Borough the Bee who will be hiding in a vendor booth each week.
For 2026 Westborough Unplugs will be May 3 - 9 (more details to come!)
