Since 2009, hundreds of thousands of Global (formerly National) Day of Unplugging participants have joined the movement to elevate human connection over digital engagement in their cities across the globe.

Ocean City High School has joined the movement and offered students several fun challenges with prizes if they can keep their cell phones in smart-phone nap-sacks in the library for NDU 2022. Here is an article about their event.
