Display a little inspiration

Anyone can make an inspirational display whether it’s for a home, coffee shop, school or community center. Pose a question or writing prompt and then share peoples responses in a creative way. Some possible questions:

“How do you like to unplug?”

“How do you like to connect with people?”

“Tell me about your relationship with social media”

“List all the fun ways you like to unplug!”

Here are some fun ways to display it!

  • Make an oversized “We Unplug to__” board or paper quilt

  • Use a wall or window to tape up responses.

  • Create an “Unplug Inspo Garden” - have people write ways they like to unplug on paper flower petals. Here’s a How to video . Assemble the petals into giant flowers and then people can take them home OR you can turn this into a giant wall display of mindful flowers that are cheerful and optimistic! We love this activity as people either find that they don’t have many options top of mind or for others they realize that there are a LOT of things they actually enjoy that don’t involve screens.

Attendees from the SWIFT Youth Summit in Santa Monica create an Unplug Inspo Garden filled with fun ways to unplug!
